DX51D is a European standard galvanized steel coil manufactured from 51-grade steel raw materials, equivalent to SGCC. After hot-dip galvanizing treatment, DX51D galvanized coils provide exceptional rust resistance, effectively resisting oxidation and corrosion in various environmental conditions.
Galvanized steel offers excellent corrosion resistance through zinc coating that provides superior electrochemical protection compared to painting and plastic coatings. The coating maintains integrity for decades without peeling and offers enhanced collision and scratch resistance.
The zinc coating serves as both a physical barrier and provides electrochemical protection through sacrificial anode action when the coating is scratched or damaged.
Hot-dip galvanized steel coils maintain the processability of steel with thin, uniform zinc layers that do not compromise performance during processing and forming operations.
Galvanized steel demonstrates good thermal resistance, maintaining appearance without discoloration below 230°C, with discoloration occurring above 250°C.
