Galvanised Steel Roof Description
Galvanized steel roofing sheets are roofing materials coated with a layer of zinc on the surface through a hot-dip galvanizing process to prevent corrosion. They are usually formed into a corrugated structure using a cold or hot rolling process. The corrugated design enhances strength,helps with waterproofing and drainage, and reduces the weight of the material, making it easier to transport and install.
The galvanized layer can effectively prevent the roof sheet from coming into contact with oxygen and moisture in the air, delaying the rusting process and extending the service life. Generally, the service life of galvanized steel corrugated roofing sheets can exceed 30 years. The corrugated design can also enhance the structural strength and compressive strength,and can withstand extreme weather conditions such as strong winds, heavy rain and snow.
