Material Composition & Properties
The wear-resistant layer comprises chromium alloy with additions of manganese, molybdenum, niobium, and nickel. The microstructure features fibrous carbides oriented perpendicular to the surface, achieving microhardness of HV1700-2000 and surface hardness of HRc58-62. This material maintains excellent stability and high hardness at elevated temperatures up to 500°C.
