Components of SmCo

SmCo5 magnet is composed of SmCo alloy and the Sm Co ratio is 1:5. Sm accounts for 36% of the total weight, while Co accounts for a small amount. It also contains other elements, such as iron, copper, hafnium and zirconium, but the amount is very small.SmCo5 magnet can provide a maximum magnetic energy product of 25 MGOe. Furthermore, it has the reversible temperature co-efficient of - 0.05% / ℃. At the same time, this magnet is easier to calibrate to a specific magnetic field than Sm2Co17 magnet. The Sm2Co17 magnet consists of SmCo alloy with a SmCo ratio of 2:17.  2 Sm atoms and 17 Co atoms. This magnetic energy product of this property is higher up to 32 MGOe, and the reversible temperature coefficient is - 0.03% / ℃.
