Sheet Steel Slitting Line With Fast Tooling Change is hot sale slitting line, either double slitters(twin or one big & one small), or fast tooling change turret. The slitting tools change is offline without bothering slitting online time, largely improve slitting line production.

Fast change process of double slitters:

1. unlock drive joints, open the hydraulic press on slitter feet.

2. Motorized walking out to exchange platform.

3. motorized moving the platform to let the other slitter facing to online position.

4. motorized moving the other slitter online

5. hydraulic press feet of the other slitter, connect drive shaft and lock.

6. before changing, slitting tools have been installed and adjusted.

Tooling Change turret:

Composed of rotating base, four shafts(double round shafts and double key shafts), both mechanisam can rotate.

1. Rotating base rotate double round shafts to face slitter and receive tools

2. 180 degree rotate to let double key shafts to face slitter and slide arranged tools onto slitter.

3. Rotate base rotates four shafts away for next time tools arranging.

Our double slitters give very excellent performances:

• One slitter head is working on line, workers arrange disc knives and spacers on the other slitter.
• After arrangement, automatically test knife gaps to be proper.
• Exchange double slitters on exchange platform in Jog mode
• This process takes only a quarter time.

The fast Tooling Change turret is compact and space saving, operator can easily handle.
