Carbon Steel Cut To Length Line for Hot Rolled HR, HRC, HRS
Thick gauge hot rolled mild steel coils are most common for cutting to length process, applied as structural body of construction, ship, machinery, automobiles, etc.
Leveler is the basic machine of steel coil cut to length line, the quality of finished plates largely depend on the performance of leveling machine. For thick HRC mild steel plates, the main leveler is heavy duty very strong.
For 4-16 x 2000 steel plates, the roller diameter 210mm, 11 rollers are arranged with 5 over 6 rollers in interlaced wave, motor power around 150KW, speed up to 20m/min.
For thick HRC strong steel plates, twice leveling are very necessary and effective, one pre-leveler and main leveler. Pre-leveler is to handle coiling bends and main leveler is to level sheets to be flat.Preleveler can be hydraulic three rollers (one over two) or Motor drive five rollers(two over three), considering hard HRC steel coil, five rollers leveler is more effective. One leveler can level sheet gauge of certain range, such as 0.3-3mm, 1.5-6mm, 4-16mm, when a customer wants to make wide thickness range sheets, can consider to put two levelers sequentially on the line, one leveler focus on leveling bigger thickness, while the second leveler for smaller thickness(e.g. 2-12mm is divided to 2 -4mm, 3-12mm).
The cutting shear is normal hydraulic shear with encoding length fix. With length measuring roller feedback, the shear will cut precisely by PLC control.
