750 Four Stands Tandem Cold Rolling Mill Line for Carbon Steel

750 Four Stands tandem cold rolling mill continuously reduce steel plate thickness at up to 280m/min from 2-4mm to 0.6-1.5mm.

The competition of the tandem mill is continuous one way from uncoiling to coiling without stop, so, automatic shear and welding machine, strip accumulator keep the continous process while changing coil, double recoilers are good option to improve production.

Layout process:
Hydraulic coil loading car, uncoiler, Five-roller straightening machine, Welding and cutting, horizontal spiral accumulator, input processing platform, four stands 4 roller rolling Mill, output processing platform, Re coiler, coil discharging car.

Tandem cold mill is high productivity, requiring:

• Huge power supply and consumption, high efficiency cold mill can save power and control rolling process cost.
• Emulsified water for rolling process cooling needs a big pool with filtering system to keep enough clean coolant.
• Electrc control cabinets and panels are high precision programming and reaction system to ensure high speed precision rolling.
• Tension cell synchronize the rolling speed and tension between two mills.
• Operator must be skilled to run the mill
• Thickness gauges are necessary to control sheet gauge.
• Thin oil lubricating system for gearboxes of mill and recoiler. 

Two Coilers Option:

strip head comes to one coiler, belt wrapper holds the head and wraps it onto coiling mandrel, the steel strip start coiling up on the mandrel, speed up the coiling speed until maximum stable speed, when the coil tail welding seam comes close to the coiler, slow down the mill line, cut off the strip after tail welding seam.
