15T Decoiler Recoiler Machines for Metal Coil Slitting Lines

Steel coil slitting line includes uncoiler, slitter and recoiler machines. 

• Uncoiler machine: load steel coil onto the uncoiler mandrel, open coil head and uncoil the coil in slitting process.

1. Uncoiler machine has different types: cantilever single mandrel, single mandrel with support arm, double mandrels of steps, double cone mandrels.
2. Cantilever single mandrel is hydraulic or mandrel expansion for light load within 5T coil
3. Single mandrel with support arm: hydraulic expansion and swaying arm supporting mandrel shaft, for load within 20T.
4. Double mandrels of steps: two mandrels face opposite to each other, each mandrel has two or three steps, the opening & closing of the two mandrels by hydraulic, for thin sheet coils of heavy load 20-35T.
5. Double cone mandrels: cone mandrels without steps for thick sheet with load 20-40T.

• Recoiler machine: rewind slit strips on recoiler mandrel, it includes press separator, expansion mandrel, drive motor and transmission gearbox,support arm, pusher.

1. For thin steel sheet, stainless steel, aluminum sheet winding, the recoil mandrel is seamless, to protect steel strips inside layers.
2. The rewound steel strips are neat in layers and edges, the telescope within 0.5mm
3. The over press separator is overarm or standing frame. overarm separator installed on recoiler base, while standing frame stands beside with arm press-down on top of slit coils. The former for small thickness strips separating, the latter suitable to thick strips. The overarm separator can be hydraulic swaying or hydraulic upright up-down.

Thin sheet slitting machine need high speed slitting 120m/min, 150m/min, 200m/min, thus about half an hour can slit one coil, plus 

effective mechanism is arranged to shorten down time, the time of loading, threading and unloading can be finished within 10minutes, each 8 hour can slit 10coils (10coils x 15T = 150T).
