Hot rolled HR carbon steel coils are thicker range of steel sheets made from hot rolling mill. Cold Rolled Steel coil is thinner sheets made from cold rolling, the thickness range usually below 2mm, the minimum around 0.2mm, slitting process is high precision high speed and thus productive. GI and colored sheets usually are CR steel sheet base and slit on the same slitting machine.
