Steel sheet cut-to-length system make steel sheets with exact thicknesses and dimensional tolerances. Cut-to-length equipment requires precision correction levelers in order to achieve accurate flatness tolerances. By elongating the material beyond its yield point the levelers effectively remove internal stresses. The steel cut-to-length system is particularly suited to creating precise sizing requirements for a wide range of steel sheet parts.

For thick HRC steel plates, twice leveling are very necessary and effective, one pre-leveler and main leveler. Pre-leveler is to handle coiling bends and main leveler is to level sheets to be flat.Preleveler can be hydraulic three rollers (one over two) or Motor drive five rollers(two over three), considering hard HRC steel coil, five rollers leveler is more effective. One leveler can level sheet gauge of certain range, such as 0.3-3mm, 1.5-6mm, 4-16mm, you can not get perfect sheets of all gauges from one leveler, when a customer wants to make flat sheets of wide thickness range on one leveling cut to length line, can consider two levelers sequentially lay on the line to focus leveling different range of thicknesses(e.g. 2-12mm is divided to 2 -4mm, 3-12mm).
The cutting shear for carbon steel sheets can be fly shear for high production or normal encoding shear for daily production. The shear drive can be AC motor, hydraulic, servo motor. With length measuring roller feedback, the shear will cut precisely by PLC control.
