Thick coil sheet slitting in longitudinal direction, like 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm normal carbon steel, or high tensile heavy gauge slitting, e.g. 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, etc..., the slitting machine has to bear heavy duty and machine structure must be robust structure and automatic operation.
Characteristics :
- Big baffle double heads uncoiler: thick steel coil plates are often heavy with big outer diameter, coil weight maximum can be 30-40T and outer diameter is up to around 2200mm. The inner coil diameters are not so regular, looking an oval shape, the opposite two cone mandrels can easily support coil inside.
- Strong 5 rolls pre leveler before slitting: thick plate was wound up to become coils in rolling line, the coiling radius of strips is strong, strong leveler can flatten the coil bending radius to become flat, ready for later slitting.
- Five roller tensioner: The five rollers tension is 3 over 2 roller structure, closely keeping steel strips under stable recoiling tension
- Strips separating press frame over recoiler: To ensure continuous recoiling, each strip must be held in order and tightly one layer over the under layer, hydraulic separating press frame solidly stand on foundation, pressing separating shaft onto recoiling strips by two hydraulic cylinders.
- Slitter and recoiler: Structure is the same as normal, much stronger, and some parts adopt special material. Slitting and recoiling work in synchronization by PLC control.
- Motorized adjusting side guide: for thickness gauge sheet, the side guide adjusting is motorized by pressing button on panel.
- Two scrap winders at each side: independently driven by a big AC frequency motor, with scrap winding displacement.
- Electric control: main drive cabinet is behind the slitting machine on drive side, operator panels sit in front of the machine, which has touch screens and Siemens PLC.
