High speed Light Gauge sheet slitting line speed can be 120m/min, 150m/min, 200m/min in automatic slitting, to shorten down time effective mechanism is arranged, the time of loading, threading and unloading can be finished within 10minutes. In average 15T coil needs 30minutes, each day 8hours can produce 240T.

Composition and layout

Coil preparing saddle, Coil loading Car, Uncoiler, Coil head Opener, Pinch feeder & Pre-leveler, Shear, Pit accumulator 1, Entry guide, Slitter, Scrap winder, Pit Accumulator 2, Tensioner and Pre-separator, post shear and deflector roller, recoiler with overarm separator, coil discharging car, (turnstile)

• Uncoiler: usually single mandrel cantilever type for coil load 15-20T
• Slitter is the heart equipment of the slitting line, double arbors for disc knives to install on, double slitters fast exchange is optional
• Slit tails press roller: installed on roll table over scrap winders, to press slit strips tails not fall into pit loop.
• Deburring press roller: before tensioning, press burrs on strips edges.
• Tensioning station: channels contact beams clamp wool felt to provide coiling tension, tensioning pressure is adjustable.
• Deflector encoding roller: deflect strips direction and measure line speed to control synchronization between slitter and recoiler
• Recoiler: seamless mandrel or normal segments are available, to wind up strips in order under press strips separating.
