HILHELM Water-based Heavy Rust Conversion Coating belongs to the HILHELM rust-conversion anti-corrosion paint series. It adopts the latest steel anti-corrosion coating protection technology and provides long-lasting, highly effective protection for rusty and unprepared steel surfaces. This innovative solution not only significantly extends the service life of anti-corrosion topcoats but also makes the anti-corrosion coating process simpler, more efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly.

The new method is based on a novel chemical chelation process that converts rust on iron surfaces into a hydrophobic passivation layer. Compared with traditional manual or mechanical rust removal coating methods and coating-over-rust methods, this rust-conversion anti-corrosion system achieves long-lasting, continuous inhibition of rust formation, providing superior protection before rust recurrence.
