Introduction Of Mealworm

Mealworms ( Tenebrio molitor,)are the larval form of the mealworm beetle, a species of darkling beetle. Like all holometabolic insects, they go through four life stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Larvae typically measure about 2.5 cm or more, whereas adults are generally between 1.25 and 1.8 cm in length.

It takes 65-68 days for Mealworms to hatch from egg to larva. Due to the short breeding time, we can easily adjust the yield of Mealworms. The processing method is to use large-scale microwave drying equipment for microwave drying. This ensures that Tenebrio molitor protein is completely retained.

Because wheat and vegetables are the main crops in the northern Plains of China, the price of mealworm feed is very low, so the area is ideal for large-scale mealworm farming.As a breeding insect, mealworms are very sensitive to pesticide residues and toxic substances, so they will never use vegetables containing any pesticides in the breeding process. This ensures that the dry mealworms themselves do not have any problems with pesticide residues and harmful substances.

Packing And Transportation

Pack dried mealworms in a moisture-proof plastic bag every 5 kg or 10 kg (5 kg is recommended) and then pack them in a rigid carton outside. About 460 cartons (5kg, 4-5 mt)/ 20ft container. We can also pack according to customer's requirement.
