Product Details
316 stainless steel is austenite that contains a max carbon content of 0.08%, nickel 10%, chromium 16%, and a molybdenum content between 2-3%. As austenitic steel, it is highly heat resistant, machinable, weldable, and has great tensile strength. The 2% molybdenum further makes it corrosion resistant in saline and freshwater, known for high chloride contents. 316 Stainless sheet is widely used in marine and highly acidic environments, underwater equipment, surgical tools, food and pharmaceutical applications.

Surface Difference
No.1 (hot rolled): After hot rolling, annealing, pickling and dephosphorization. The surface of the treated steel plate is a dull surface, a bit rough.
Usage: chemical industry equipments.
No.2B: Except for the last light cold rolling with a polishing roll after annealing and dephosphorization, the other processes are the same as 2D, the surface is slightly shiny, and it can be polished.
Usage: After adopting the surface treatment method to improve the mechanical properties, it can meet almost all purposes.
BA: After cold rolling, it is processed by bright annealing heat treatment process and modulated and rolled.
Usage: mostly used for home appliances, small mirrors, kitchen equipment and building materials that require high reflectivity.
No.4: First polish with coarse abrasive, and finally grind with 180 grit abrasive.
Usage: Mainly used for bathtubs, building interior and exterior decoration materials, food equipment, etc.
HL (hairline): Use grinding paper of appropriate granularity to make No.4 continuous grinding pattern
Usage: mostly used for building interior and exterior decoration materials and building sash, door, panel, etc.
8K: Continuously polish the stainless steel with a fine abrasive, and then polish it with a very fine polishing paste.
Usage: mirror surface processing, used for decoration materials, mirrors, etc.
