Matte 2B Finish Stainless Steel Sheet is available in grades 304, 316, 430 and 201, as well as mill edge finishes. The No. 2B finish is a common mill finish. This finish is a dull gray, slightly reflective finish that serves as a base for other polished finishes. It is generally the least expensive of the three types of stainless steel finishes.

Surface Difference
No.1 (hot rolled): After hot rolling, annealing, pickling and dephosphorization. The surface of the treated steel plate is a dull surface, a bit rough.
Usage: chemical industry equipments.
No.2D: The surface is processed better than No.1, and it is also a dull surface. After cold rolling, annealing, dephosphorization, and finally rolling with a matt roll.
Usage: petrochemical production equipment, auto parts, building materials, pipeline materials, etc.
No.2B: This is the most commonly used in construction applications. Except for the last light cold rolling with a polishing roll after annealing and dephosphorization, the other processes are the same as 2D, the surface is slightly shiny, and it can be polished.
Usage: After adopting the surface treatment method to improve the mechanical properties, it can meet almost all purposes.
BA: After cold rolling, it is processed by bright annealing heat treatment process and modulated and rolled.
Usage: mostly used for home appliances, small mirrors, kitchen equipment and building materials that require high reflectivity.
No.4: First polish with coarse abrasive, and finally grind with 180 grit abrasive.
Usage: Mainly used for bathtubs, building interior and exterior decoration materials, food equipment, etc.
HL (hairline): Use grinding paper of appropriate granularity to make No.4 continuous grinding pattern
Usage: mostly used for building interior and exterior decoration materials and building sash, door, panel, etc.
8K: Continuously polish the stainless steel with a fine abrasive, and then polish it with a very fine polishing paste.
Usage: mirror surface processing, used for decoration materials, mirrors, etc.
