Product description

The item is one miniature NTC thermistor medical temperature sensor CE approval. The miniature NTC thermistors are encapsulated with epoxy in polyimide tubes with polyesterimide insulated #38 AWG solid nickel wire leads. They feature paralell bonding and come in standard overall lengths of 3, 6 and 12 inches. These thermistor probes are ideal for use with small probe housing and applications that require fast thermal response time.

Connection method

The lead wire can be soldered to larger wires by winding it around the larger wire and then soldering.

 

Caution

The miniature NTC thermistor sensor probe is manufactured using a semiconductor process. Due to its microstructure the sensor is sensitive to 

electrostatic discharge in just the same way as common integrated circuits are.

In order to prevent damage to or failure of the sensor recommends to take appropriate precautions against when handling it.

Failure to protect the sensor against ESD may also cause damage to the equipment installed with the sensor, because electrostatic discharge can cause small parametric changes, which means that the sensor may not meet its published specification.
