The mixer operates through a power-driven system that rotates two shafts in opposite directions via reducer and gearbox transmission. Each shaft features opposing stirring knives that create material tossing, shearing, and convection effects.

A mist water spray system ensures proper moisture distribution throughout the mixing process. As the stirring shafts rotate, the blades continuously homogenize raw materials while pushing them toward the sealing cylinder feeding port.

Inside the sealed cylinder, material density increases progressively due to volume compression from the compressor head. This kneading action further enhances homogenization of diverse raw material properties. The extrusion reamer forces mud materials through the discharge port, where rotating mud scrapers cut the extruded mud ring into uniform pieces for the next production stage.
