1. Introduction

    White aluminum oxide is made from high purity Bayer process alumina. Raw materials and furnacing practices are carefully controlled to ensure the highest purity and optimum crystal structure. It is crushed in such a manner to produce blocky grain distributions with a higher bulk density.

    The hardness of white corundum is slightly higher than brown corundum, toughness is slightly lower, which has high purity, good self-sharpening, strong grinding ability, small heat, high efficiency, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, high temperature thermal stability.
