Attention shall be paid to the following aspects during the maintenance of oil pump:

1. Water will corrode the oil pump, so it is prohibited to use the oil pump to pump vacuum for substances containing water.

2. For substances containing a large amount of solvent, first remove most of the solvent in the oven, and then use the oil pump to vacuum.

3. Use the vacuum pump in the correct order to prevent backdraft.

4. After using the vacuum oven, be sure to do a good job of cleaning, and clean the glass window of the vacuum oven.

5. Wipe off the rust preventative oil on the surface.

6. Remove the antirust oil from the inner cavity of the governor and the injection pump, and add the lubricating oil of the specified brand.

7. The rust proof oil in the fuel pipe shall also be removed before use. The fuel shall be connected to the fuel injection pump pipe, and the camshaft of the fuel injection pump shall be continuously rotated until the tight seat of the fuel outlet valve sprays clean fuel.

8. Fuel selection is reasonable.

9. The fuel with proper mark must be used. Generally, No. 0 diesel oil is used in summer, and No. 10 light diesel oil is used in winter.

10. The fuel used must be clean and free of any impurities and moisture.

The fuel injection pump, also known as the high-pressure fuel pump, is the most important component in the fuel system. The function of the fuel injection pump is to increase the fuel pressure and inject a certain amount of fuel into the combustion chamber in an accurate time according to the requirements of the diesel engine working conditions.

The requirements for the fuel injection pump are:

(1) The fuel supply quantity of the fuel injection pump shall meet the needs of the diesel engine under various working conditions, that is, the fuel supply quantity increases when the load is large; the fuel supply quantity decreases when the load is small. At the same time, ensure that the oil supply to each cylinder is equal.

(2) According to the requirements of the diesel engine, the fuel injection pump shall ensure that the starting time of fuel supply for each cylinder is the same.

(3) The fuel injection pump must supply fuel with sufficient pressure to the injector to ensure good atomization quality according to the combustion chamber type and the method of mixture formation.

The fuel injection pump can be divided into unit pump and synthetic pump (integral pump) according to its overall structure.
