The 201 stainless steel circulating in the market has a nickel content ranging from 0.5 to 5 nickel atoms, with significant differences
in composition depending on the application requirements. This type of steel is mainly used to replace 304 stainless steel in certain s
pecific applications. 201 steel grade contains manganese element, which will rust in humid and high salt air for a long time. Due to the manganese element, the color may be darker than that of 304 steel, but it is difficult to distinguish with the naked eye. Due to different
nickel contents, the corrosion resistance of 201 stainless steel is not as good as that of 304, and the higher carbon content makes 201
stainless steel harder and more brittle than 304.
