The most widely used of the stainless and heat-resisting steels, 304 offers good corrosion resistance to many chemical corrodents as well as industrial atmospheres. 304 Stainless Steel Flat, is the most economical stainless flat shape that's ideal for all applications where strength and superior corrosion resistance is required. 304 Stainless Flat has a durable dull, grainy mill finish and is widely used for all types of fabrication projects that are exposed to the elements. Stainless Flats 1/2" thickness and under are sheared and edged, thicker sizes are a true bar. True bar is available on request for thinner sizes.
