Stainless steel flat steels are flat steels that are not easy to rust. In fact, some stainless steel flat steels have both rust resistance and acid resistance (corrosion resistance). The rust resistance and corrosion resistance of stainless steel flat steel are due to the formation of chromium rich oxide film (passive film) on its surface. The rust resistance and corrosion resistance are relative. The test shows that the corrosion resistance of steel increases with the increase of chromium content in the weak medium such as atmosphere and water and the oxidizing medium such as nitric acid. When the chromium content reaches a certain percentage, the corrosion resistance of steel changes suddenly, that is, from easy to rust to not easy to rust, from non corrosion to corrosion resistance.
