Usually North American like U.S.A. and Canada need UL approved extinguishers and some of the Middle East countries or Asian conuntries also need UL approval extinguishers.

The CO2 fire extinguishers have advantages of good fluidity, high spray rate, no corrosion of containers and not easy to deteriorate,so they are mainly used to rescue valuable equipment, archives, instruments and meters, electrical equipment below 600 volts and oil of the initial fire.
