Carbon Steel coil Rolling is divided into cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel sheets, and the recrystallization temperature is the distinguishing point. The hot-rolled sheet has poor toughness and surface smoothness, and the price is low, while the cold-rolled sheet has good stretchability and toughness, but the price is more expensive. The cold-rolled sheet is cold-rolled, and the surface has no oxide skin and is of good quality. The hot-rolled sheet is processed by hot rolling, and the surface has an oxide scale, and the thickness of the sheet is poor.

Product Process

Hot-rolled steel products include steel coils and steel sheets cut from them. The steel coil (roll) can be divided into straight hair rolls and finishing rolls (divided rolls, flat rolls and slit rolls). Hot continuous rolling can be divided into ordinary carbon structural steel, low-alloy steel, and alloy steel according to its material and performance. According to their different uses, they can be divided into: cold forming steel, structural steel, automotive structural steel, corrosion-resistant structural steel, mechanical structural steel, welded gas cylinder and pressure vessel steel, pipeline steel, etc. Hot rolled steel coil is a technical term for metallurgy. Hot-rolled sheet is a kind of smelting material, which belongs to a kind of plate, and its thickness range is generally specified as 1.2~6mm. The surface of the non-plated hot-rolled steel plate is dark brown, and the surface of the non-plated cold-rolled steel plate is gray. After electroplating, it can be distinguished from the smoothness of the surface. Cold rolling is made of hot-rolled coils as raw materials and rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. Cold-rolled steel plates are steel plates produced through cold-rolling processes, referred to as cold plates. The thickness of cold-rolled sheet is generally between 0.1-8.0mm. The thickness of cold-rolled sheet produced by most factories is less than 4.5mm. The thickness and width of cold-rolled sheet are determined according to the equipment capacity of each factory and market demand. Cold rolling is processed and rolled on the basis of hot rolled coils. Generally speaking, it is a process of hot rolling---pickling---cold rolling.

Application

Because of the hot rolled steel products has high strength, good toughness, easy to processing molding and good weld ability and other excellent properties, and therefore is widely used in ship, automobile, bridges, buildings, machinery, pressure vessels and other manufacturing industries.
