Scope of application:

In order to advance the wear-resistant function, the surface of copper alloy with high thermal conductivity can be simply plated with a layer of non electric nickel coating, hard chromium coating, PVD coating (physical vapor deposition layer) or CVD coating (chemical vapor deposition layer), so that the hardness of the coating surface can reach 60 ~ 90 HRC. Non electroplated nickel coating can make the coating penetrate into each hole with a uniform thickness, but its essence is not like galvanizing technology or hard chromium plating technology.

In order to facilitate the demoulding of plastic parts, the non electroplated nickel coating can be combined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or boron nitride materials. The surface of mold parts coated with PTFE or boron nitride non electroplated nickel plating coating is very smooth, as if coated with soap foam, so the formed plastic parts will not stick to the mold steel, and the demoulding is very simple.

Of course, there are also some limitations in using copper alloy with high thermal conductivity to make molds, such as stress relief or annealing (only in this way can we adhere to the hardness characteristics of the material).
