It can withstand repeated heating below 1150 °C, and the temperature can reach 1200 °C. It has high high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and carburization resistance. It is sensitive to sulfur-containing atmospheres and has a tendency to embrittle the precipitated phase at 600-800 °C. It is suitable for making various furnace components under stress.
