EN DIN 1.4512 Standard 409L Stainless Steel Strip for Exhaust System
AISI 409L stainless steel strip (SUH409L stainless steel coil) is a cold-rolled steel sheet in coil specifically designed for exhaust systems, decoration, and construction applications.
Compared with ordinary carbon steel, stainless steel contains additional alloying elements such as Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), Manganese (Mn), and Molybdenum (Mo), providing superior material characteristics and corrosion resistance.
Material Properties
The corrosion resistance of stainless steel primarily depends on Chromium content, while Molybdenum and Nitrogen enhance corrosion resistance. Nickel ensures proper microstructure and mechanical properties.
