Product Description
SS 347 / 347H High Temperature Austenitic Stainless Steel Pipe
A312 TP347 stainless steel pipe is a stabilized austenitic alloy designed for high-temperature applications. The material is stabilized against chromium carbide formation through the addition of columbium and tantalum, making it non-magnetic and suitable for boiler tube applications.
SS 347 tubing offers superior creep and stress rupture properties compared to SS 304 and performs exceptionally well in strongly oxidizing environments up to 1500°F (816°C). These pipes demonstrate excellent performance in nitric solutions, most diluted organic acids at moderate temperatures, and in pure phosphoric acid applications.
