SUS439 Stainless Steel Welded Pipe
439 stainless steel is based on ordinary ferritic material (430) with reduced carbon content and the addition of stabilizing elements such as titanium. This composition provides improved intergranular corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. Compared to 304 steel grade, 439 has lower elongation (approximately 30%) but equivalent strength and corrosion resistance, with superior corrosion resistance compared to 200 series materials.
