Types of Stainless Steel Beams
I Beam
The most common beam in our inventory. The I-beam's center web can only be rolled as much as a mill's equipment can handle (5/8″). Lighter in weight and manufactured from a single solid piece of metal through rolling process.
H Beam
Stronger than the I-beam, the H-Beam is constructed from three individually created pieces welded together. This manufacturing process allows each portion to be much stronger, resulting in a heavier beam capable of withstanding greater force and pressure.
