UNS S32652 (654SMO) is a super austenitic stainless steel grade 1.4652 / X1CrNiMOCUN24-22-8, offering superior corrosion resistance compared to standard austenitic steels. This high-performance alloy contains 23% nickel, 25% chromium, and 7% molybdenum, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
654SMO's high molybdenum content presents manufacturing challenges during seamless pipe perforation. Our specialized process involves center perforation of round steel followed by cold rolling or cold drawing, ensuring high success rates and quality consistency despite increased production costs.
