17-4PH Stainless Steel Tubing is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel offering exceptional combination of properties:
- High strength and hardness through simple aging heat treatment
- Good corrosion resistance comparable to Type 304 stainless steel
- Excellent fabricability for machining, welding, and forming
- Good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures up to 600°F (315°C)
- Magnetic properties, especially in aged condition
