Inconel 600 is an early-developed nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy with excellent properties:
- Superior high temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance
- Excellent hot and cold processing capabilities
- Outstanding welding process performance
- Satisfactory heat resistance and high temperature plasticity below 700°C
- Can be strengthened by cold working
- Suitable for resistance welding, solvent welding, or brazing
- Ideal for anti-oxidation parts bearing low loads below 1100°C
