Stainless steel checkered plates are manufactured through two primary processes:
- Hot Rolled: Produced with NO.1 finish, typically more expensive
- Cold Press: Manufactured with NO.1 or 2B finish, cost-effective alternative
Pattern types include lentil-shaped, diamond-shaped, round bean-shaped, dot-shaped, and oblate mixed shapes. The pattern height must be at least 0.2 times the substrate thickness, ensuring excellent non-slip properties.
Checkered plates maintain complete pattern integrity with pattern height variations not exceeding half of the thickness tolerance. Minor local burrs are permitted within quality standards.
