Inconel 600 is an early-developed nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy. This material offers exceptional performance characteristics including:
- Excellent high temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance
- Superior hot and cold processing capabilities
- Outstanding welding process performance
- Satisfactory heat resistance and high temperature plasticity below 700°C
- Can be strengthened by cold working
- Compatible with resistance welding, solvent welding, or brazing
Ideal for manufacturing anti-oxidation components that bear low loads below 1100°C.
