316Ti Stainless Steel Overview
316Ti stainless steel is an austenitic grade containing molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. The titanium content (approximately 0.5%) stabilizes the structure at temperatures over 800°C, preventing carbide precipitation and protecting against corrosion.

316Ti can withstand higher temperatures for longer periods without sensitization occurring, while maintaining physical and mechanical properties similar to standard 316 grades.
