316Ti stainless steel is an austenitic grade containing molybdenum for enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. The titanium content (approximately 0.5%) stabilizes the structure at temperatures above 800°C, preventing carbide precipitation and protecting against corrosion.
This grade maintains physical and mechanical properties similar to standard 316 stainless steel while offering improved performance in high-temperature applications.
