Product Overview
Duplex 2205 stainless steel combines ferritic and austenitic properties, offering excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. The S31803 grade has been refined to UNS S32205, providing superior corrosion resistance. This grade is not recommended for use above 300°C or below -50°C due to material property changes.
Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205) is nitrogen-enhanced stainless steel offering:
- High resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion
- Excellent performance in most caustic environments
- Good weldability characteristics
