• MJ-COAT can be used for cosmetic repairs.
• For structural repairs prone to high degrees of stress and flexibility, use an car piant repair product.
• For flexible plastics use  Fiberglass body filler.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• Clean and degrease the entire panel to be repaired with soap and water, followed by a mild cleaning solvent.
• Surface must be thoroughly dry before repairing or applying material.
• Keep the repair area small.
• Use 40-80 grit to remove the paint and featheredge.

DRYING/SANDING TIMES

• Allow the application of filler to cure 20 to 30 minutes.
• Sand with 80 grit sand paper and featheredge with 180 grit sandpaper or finer.
• Wait 1 hour before painting.
• Drying time depends on temperature and amount of hardener used.
• Optional: Apply a very thin layer of MJ-coat Glazing & Spot Putty to fill pinholes or small imperfections if necessary.
