Description

This primer is a mixture of single-stranded random hexanucleotides with 5'- and 3'-hydroxyl ends. The primer is supplied as an aqueous solution and can be used for first strand cDNA synthesis.

First strand cDNA synthesis.

Quality control

Each lot of random hexamer primer is functionally tested in a first strand cDNA synthesis reaction using 1.1 kb RNA with 3'-poly(A) tail.
