FS^TM Taq DNA Polymerase, developed by GDSBio, is the latest generation Taq-based DNA polymerase. It possesses high amplification efficiency as Taq polymerase does, and fast elongation ability as KOD polymerase does. It can be used in a variety of PCR. The FS^TM PCR Buffer, designed for FS^TM Taq DNA Polymerase, can be used in fast amplification reaction. The elongation rate of FS^TM Taq DNA Polymerase can be as fast as 3kb/min. It can shorten the amplification time by 2/3.

Unit Definition

One unit is defined as the amount of the enzyme required to catalyze the incorporation of 10 nmole of dNTPs into an acid-insoluble form in 30 minutes at 70°C using hering sperm DNA as substrate.

Storage Buffer

20mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 100mM KCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0.5% NP-40, 0.5% Tween20, 50% (V/V) glycerol.

10× FS^TM PCR Buffer with Mg²⁺

200mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8), 100mM KCl, 100mM (NH4)₂SO₄, 1% Triton X-100.

Applications

• Fast elongation: elongation rate can reach to 3kb/min, 3 times rate of Taq DNA Polymerase

• Thermostable: half-life over 40 min at 95°C incubation

• Generates 3'-dA overhangs PCR products
