1.Metal Saddle Rings /Random Packing Introduction
Metal saddle ring is composed of ring and saddle shape, with tongue shaped ribs inside.
Metal Saddle Ring is one popular type of column random packing. Compared with Raschig Ring with the same material, it has high flux, high efficiency and low pressure drop. Also Metal Saddle Rings has less resistance, higher flux, higher efficiency, better packing strength and rigidity than Pall Rings. Metal Saddle Ring, also known as Intalox Saddles, I ring, IMTP packing, is the most widely used random packing nowadays.
