There are two common types:

• Type A densimeter, the scale unit is the grams of soil particles per 1000cm3 suspension at 20 ℃, 0~60 (or-5~50), and the minimum division unit is 1.0 (or 0.5).
• Type B densimeter, the scale unit is the specific gravity of suspension at 20 ℃; From 0.995~1.050 (or 0.995~1.030), take the minor division as 0.001 (or 0.0002), and the accuracy is 0.0002 (or 0.00005).
