Description:
Before using the the ReadyGard Duo safety pen needle, on the patient end, the needle itself is guarded within a plastic sheath
allowing it to be undetectable until it is ready to be used. On the cartridge end, the sterile needle is exposed to connect the injection devices.
After using the the ReadyGard Duo safety pen needle, on the patient end, a red indicator confirms the safety mechanism has been activated. On the cartridge end, protection is confirmed when the red shield covers the needle upon removal from the pen.
