CLIA Reagents of Thyroid (TPOAb)
EXPLANATION OF THE TEST
TPOAb Detection kit (CLIA) (hereinafter referred to as the kit) is used for in vitro quantitative detection of TPOAb concentration. It provides important immunological parameters for the diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease, and the diagnosis of thyroid disease.
In clinical tests, TPOAb is an important diagnosis indicator of autoimmune thyroid disease. TPOAb has been made as routine testing internationally. TPOAb is closely related with hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. TPOAb is abnormal which indicates postpartum thyroid dysfunction (PPTD) or thyroid dysfunction. More than 95% of patients with Hashimoto's thyroid disease can be detected out TPOAb, while about 85% of Graves' patients can be detected out TPOAb.
Since TPOAb itself is not involved in thyroid hormone synthesis and release process, it will not be affected by the regulatory thyroid drug for hormone synthesis and release. Therefore, there is more significance for TPOAb as the monitoring indicators.
