Yokohama Type Fender Pneumatic Marine Floating Boat Ship Parts
Yokohama Type Pneumatic Marine Floating Fender Marine Boat Ship Parts
Description
The Yokohama Fender is an abrasion-resistant rubber fender filled with high pressure air. It can easily be deflated which allows simple and cost-effective relocation and re-commissioning in other locations.
Yokohama Fenders are supplied with two different inside pressure levels to cover a wide performance range. They are manufactured according to ISO 17357-1:2014. Yokohama Fenders can be produced using different methods and each has its own advantages when compared correctly. The most common methods are molded and wrapped. Read more about the different manufacturing methods in our Yokohama Fender Manual. Airbags should not be mixed up with Pneumatic Fenders, airbags are used for ship launching operations and thus serve a totally different purpose than Yokohama Fenders.
Yokohama Fenders are available in diameters ranging from 300 mm to 4,500 mm and lengths ranging from 500 mm to 9,000 mm, as well as special sizes. All sizes are available as sling-type or with a heavy-duty chain & tire net.
