Casting crane is one of the main equipment in steelmaking and continuous casting process. It is mainly used for the charging of converter to the converter to add molten iron. The molten steel is lifted to the refining furnace at the refining span or to the continuous casting rotary ladle platform at the steel span.
The general structure of the casting crane can be divided into: double beams and double rails, four beams and four rails, four beams and six rails, etc. Double beam, double rail and four beam, four rail are generally used for medium and large tonnage casting cranes, and four beam, six rail and double trolley are generally used for super large tonnage casting cranes.
