Antibacterial wound dressing is a sterile non-woven pad composed of high M (mannic acid) calcium alginate and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC).

Silver ions release silver ions in the presence of wound fluid. When the liquid is absorbed, alginate forms a soft gel that helps maintain a moist environment for optimal healing and complete wound removal. According to in vitro tests, silver ions released by silver ions in wound exudate are an effective antibacterial agent with antibacterial effect of up to 7 days against a variety of common bacterial colonization and wound infected microorganisms.

3. Absorbent non- adherent pad collects excess exudates and protects the wound from trauma.
