Product Description
439 steel reduces the content of C on the basis of ordinary ferritic material (430) and adds stabilizing elements such as Ti to improve the intergranular corrosion resistance, formability and weldability of the steel. Compared with 304 steel, although its elongation is lower (about 30%), its strength and corrosion resistance are equivalent, and its corrosion resistance is better than that of 200 series materials.
439 steel is a titanium stabilized alloy containing 18% Cr, which is Ferritic stainless steel, resistant to many oxidation rings from fresh water to boiling acid environmental pollution. It can be annealed, cold rolled or welded to its original state can be applied to other stainless steel alloys that can be used, such as 410, 409 and 430.

Where the temperature of 409 steel is too high, 439 can maintain good oxidation and corrosion resistance, so it can be used to manufacture many parts of automobile exhaust system and residential furnace primary heat exchange.
